  1. Is it safe to receive a diamond in the mail?

Yes. All DiamondsRight shipments are fully insured through FedEx for the full value of their contents. In the unlikely event that the contents are lost or damaged, DiamondsRight will provide a replacement or full refund.

  2. Is it safe to buy a diamond over the Internet?

Yes. To ensure a risk-free shopping experience for our valued clients, DiamondsRight is protected with Secure Socket Layer data encryption techniques. In addition, all of the diamonds in our large inventory are certified by the independent laboratories of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the American Gemological Society (AGS).

  3. How do I know the (diamond, setting, band) is the quality I purchased?

DiamondsRight is committed to providing you with products of the highest quality. With each diamond purchase you will receive a grading report (certification) from the Gemological Institute of America or the American Gemological Society or the American Gemological Society, recognized worldwide for their stringent quality standards.

You will also receive, free of charge, a professional jewelry appraisal signed by one of our experienced diamond experts. This appraisal contains the following information:

    • A description of the item purchased
    • A photograph of the item purchased
    • The cut, color, clarity and carat weight of any diamonds
    • The approximate current retail replacement market value
  4. What will my order contain?

When you place an order with DiamondsRight, you will receive your jewelry in an elegant gift box along with an invoice detailing the purchase item, cost, and return instructions. In addition, your order will contain: a Diamond Grading Report, from either the GIA or AGS reporting your diamond's cut, color, clarity, and diamond weight; a Retail Appraisal prepared by our in house Gemologist for insurance purposes that contains a detailed description of your jewelry item including metal type and weight, craftsmanship and overall quality, and a picture of your jewelry

  5. How do I know what she'll like?

Without knowing your special recipient personally, here are a few suggestions we can give to help you determine this answer. Close friends and relatives are great sources of information as to what she might prefer — just be sure they can keep a secret!

Another suggestion is to look at the jewelry she most often wears and take notes about the style (classic, contemporary, white gold, yellow gold). Are you friends with other couples who've recently become engaged? Note her comments on their choices.

Ultimately, the best way to express her unique style is to ask her what she would like. Many women today are involved in this important decision — after all; it’s one that lasts a lifetime.

  6. How do I know her ring size?

DiamondsRight has two ways to help you find her ring size. We have a paper ring-sizer which you can print from our website and put inside one of her existing rings. Mark it and give us a call to let us know her size.

If that doesn’t work, we can send out a plastic ring sizer. You will still need to compare it to an existing ring to give us the closest estimate.

Either way, if you return the ring to us within 45 days; we’ll size it for a perfect fit free of charge.

  7. Does DiamondsRight sell "enhanced" or "treated" diamonds?

Absolutely not. DiamondsRight does not sell any diamonds that are known to have undergone any processes such as laser drilling, fracture filling, or color/clarity enhancing.

  8. Why do similar (diamonds, settings, bands) have such different prices?

All of the merchandise sold on DiamondsRight is high quality product. As discussed in our Education section, the quality of the diamond you choose will make a difference in price. The metal you choose for a setting, and the weight of that metal, will cause a price to change. If you compare any setting offered in white gold to the same setting in platinum, you will see that the platinum setting is more expensive. Platinum is the heaviest and, therefore, most expensive metal that you can purchase.

  9. Can you design a custom ring for me?

DiamondsRight allows you to create a distinct ring to suit your special person's tastes. We do not custom design settings at this point. If you're looking for something different from the merchandise featured on our website, please contact us at: info@DiamondsRight.com or 1-800-707-9041.

  10. What if I want to return my ring, but don't have the certificate?

Our diamond certificates are provided by two prestigious diamond laboratories and are expensive to produce as well as replace. We require that a diamond be returned with the certificate and appraisal. Returns without these documents will incur a replacement fee.

  11. How can you help me keep my purchase a surprise?

We can ship your merchandise to a different address than your billing address upon your request. We can also try to arrange for Saturday delivery depending upon your location.

  12. Are you able to deliver on a Saturday or Sunday?

FedEx Saturday Service is subject to availability in major cities. If this service is unavailable in your area we can arrange to have your package held at your nearest FedEx location for pick up. Please note that we require signature upon delivery, regardless of existing signature waivers you may have with FedEx.

  13. Can you laser-inscribe my diamond?

Some of the stones in our DiamondsRight inventory may have laser inscriptions. We would be happy to send your diamond to a gemological laboratory such as the Gemological Institute of America or the American Gemological Society to be inscribed. There will be a fee associated with the process. Please email us at info@DiamondsRight.com or call 1-800-707-9041 to speak with a Diamond Consultant.

  14. Can I view my diamond before it is set?

DiamondsRight is confident that you will be delighted with your purchase after your stone is placed in its special setting. Our current policy does not allow us to send stones out to be viewed before they are set.

  15. What if you don't have the diamond or setting I am looking for?

At DiamondsRight we want to help you find the perfect diamond and setting. If you do not find what you’re looking for in our extensive inventory, contact us as we will be happy to help you find the perfect ring. Email us at info@DiamondsRight.com, or call us at 1-800-707-9041.

  16. What if the ring I order doesn't fit?

If your DiamondsRight ring doesn't fit, we will resize it free of charge within 45 days of its original shipment to you. Please note that resizing may take approximately ten to fourteen business days.

  17. Is engraving available on your wedding bands?

DiamondsRight will be happy to arrange for your band to be engraved. Please contact us at info@DiamondsRight.com or 1-800-707-9041.
